Worship at Christ Church

Worshipping God is the central focus point of any Christian Church, and Christ Church is no exception. It is an opportunity to meet together as a fellowship to learn more about God and worship Him, praise Him and thank Him for the sacrifice made to us through Jesus Christ, who died to save us from our sins.

At Christ Church, we hold services every Sunday morning, each starting at 11:00am unless otherwise stated. Generally, the first Sunday is Holy Communion, the third Sunday is our Family Services and the remaining Sundays are regular services. Around half of our services are led by our Minister, Rev David Atkinson, with the remainder being led by members of the Church and local preachers.

We warmly invite you to join us at any of our Sunday services and you will be most welcome. Following each service, refreshments are served and there is the chance to chat to other people if wished.



Our Junior Church group, Adventurers, meets each Sunday during the morning service (except Family Services and other special dates as announced) and is open to all children aged 3 and above. For more information about the group, please click the above image. In the Church there is also a children's corner with games, toys and things to do for children of all ages.
